This original painting is inspired by the Longolongo (Kupesi Tui), a traditional motif representing the stages of growth of the Longlongo, an ornamental tree fern used to decorate homes in Tonga. The colour palette reflects lush tropical ferns and coconut palms, echoing the abundant vegetation found throughout the South Pacific.
