Saltwater (Tears) represents the link between the uniquely human experience of crying and the ocean.
The ocean is life-giving, both above and beneath the surface. Many ancient Polynesian myths centre around the ocean and link the tears of demigods to the creation and power of the ocean.
Challenging the inner narratives we hold around emotion.
